Where did August go? We’re over halfway through the month and just like every August, it’s hot hot hot here. This tie dye maxi dress is perfect for days when you just want to throw something on. It’s breathable, it’s chic, and it’s actually long enough for this tall giraffe.

Oh, the fitted sheath dress! Perfect for a day at the office or a night on the town. On a recent trip to Crossroads Trading Co., I found this fabulous grey dress and I couldn’t wait to get home and style it.

I found this cotton dress on the Gap sale rack last week for a whopping $15 and yes, I was this excited when I found it. Why? Because it’s a blank canvas with so many different styling options, three of which I’m going to share with you!

I’m always looking for versatility in the items I wear and that’s what I found in this cargo jacket. When I lived in San Francisco, it seemed as though every girl had one and when I caved and bought one for myself, I had a “now, I get it” moment.

Yesterday I styled a Good Day Sacramento segment for Macy’s in honor of the Go Red Movement, with each model being affected by heart disease in some way. Tomorrow is National Wear Red Day, and I’m doing my part in this LRD: little red dress.
