Yesterday I styled a Good Day Sacramento segment for Macy’s in honor of the Go Red Movement, with each model being affected by heart disease in some way. Tomorrow is National Wear Red Day, and I’m doing my part in this LRD: little red dress.
Dress: Calvin Klein c/o Macy’s (get it here)
Shoes: Ivanka Trump via TJ Maxx
Earrings and Bracelet: Supply x Deeda
Ring: Juicy Couture c. 2008
I think we all know someone who’s been affected by heart disease in some way. Maybe it’s even yourself. For me, my grandmother had a heart attack that left her with a pacemaker and array of medications, as well as having congestive heart failure. It’s more important than ever that we know our family history, visit our doctor regularly, and take the proper precaution against heart disease.
Macy’s has been a national sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women since its inception in 2004 and thanks to the support of their employees and customers, they’ve helped to raise over $50 million to support the cause.
Now through Monday, February 9, wear red or buy a RedDress pin for $2 to benefit Go Red For Women at Macy’s and get an extra 20% off select regular and all sale and clearance purchases storewide or 15% off fine and fashion jewelry, sale and clearance watches and the Home Store select regular and all sale and clearance purchases. Shop for a cause!
The dress I’m wearing in this post in addition to two others by Thalia and Kensie, give 10% back to AHA with purchase. I gotta say, they all have their special flair and sass, but this one just screamed “pick me” when I saw it. It fits in all the right places! You can see them on all of the models in yesterday’s segment: http://gooddaysacramento.cbslocal.com/video/11101904-little-red-dress/
TLG Tip: I have been in Macy’s every day this week in preparation for my TV segment and the sale on boots right now is ridiculous. Get. There. Now.
