Oh man, how I wish I were back at the Sheraton Grand Los Cabos right now! In case you missed it, Ruthie and I were the Weekend Wanderers for Alaska Airlines a few weeks back, and we were sent to Cabo to explore with our friends for an epic girls trip! It was such a great experience, and you know I love Cabo from my last visit with the Alaska team!
A girls trip requires a lot of planning, but one thing we knew from the beginning was that we wanted a fun yet mellow experience, and we wanted to stay at a beautiful property that matched the vibe we were going for. As soon as we pulled up to the Sheraton Grand Los Cabos, Hacienda Del Mar Resort, we knew we had made the right choice.
The Sheraton Grand Los Cabos is an AAA Four-Diamond Resort with 270 spacious guest rooms, including 31 suites. It is the ideal destination for every occasion, not just a girls trip. From couples or family getaways to weddings or retreats. In addition to their luxurious rooms, the property has five pools, eight restaurants, and nightly entertainment. While it is not an adult only resort, there were very few families considering it was peak summer visitation. The adventures Kids Club is available should you want to bring your crew and keep the kiddos busy.
Enjoy some photos from our visit!
Nothing screams vacation like a little R&R, and the Cactus Spa onsite is “heaven on Cabo.” From the moment you walk through the doors, you immediately start to relax, unwind and feel refreshed.
The facilities were stocked with endless towels, comfy slippers and the most luxurious robes we’ve ever worn. Each of us had a massage and had the opportunity to take advantage of the amenities all day long! I couldn’t get enough of the steam room and the hot tub! It was AMAZING. The staff was accommodating and welcoming the entire time we were there. We felt like royalty.
The hotel is a traditional hacienda style of architecture, with beautiful corners everywhere you look! With just a few steps out of your room, you’ll be entranced by gardens, fountains, and plazas, reflecting the rich history of the Baja peninsula.
If you are looking for a home base while you’re in Los Cabos, this is IT! As an avid traveler, I am still talking about how this stay has stood out in terms of hospitality, quality, and amenities. The hotel is just six miles from Cabo San Lucas, home to sport fishing, water sports, and popular beach restaurants and bars. Check out my Cabo Travel Guide to plot your exploration.
Don’t forget your points!
If you’re part of rewards programs, you’ll rack in the points with the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program (which is also linked to Marriott).
Happy travels!
