Hey guys! Remember when I did Coolsculpting at Granite Bay Cosmetic back in June? Well, I have an important update for you.
If you missed it or are new to The Kachet Life, welcome! You can catch up in my first Coolsculpting post here.
First off, let’s re-familiarize ourselves with what Coolsculpting is!
Coolsculpting is an FDA-approved non-surgical fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate fat in targeted areas. In short, Coolsculpting freezing fat cells. Over time, the frozen fat cells die off and your body metabolizes them naturally. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, the results from Coolsculpting will be permanent.
So, after a morning full of cycles, I left and went on about my business. Literally. I did a pull for a TV segment the next day right after! As I noted in my first post, my stomach area felt hard and bloated for a few days after Coolsculpting Day, which I was totally warned about.
Anyway, you came here to find out what happened after, so let’s get right to it!
It was a bit of a waiting game, weeks in fact. I started to notice changes in August and I realized that my results were going to be gradual. Since I’ve reached the peak of my results, I wanted to share them with you.
My house is surrounded by boxes from my recent move, so I went over to Common Space to snap some pictures of my Ghosts of Pants Past and Future, pants that used to fit well and didn’t anymore, as well as some “goal pants,” which are pants that I bought and almost fit at the time of purchase. I know it sounds silly, but c’mon, you have to have something in your closet like that, right? Because, you know, you tried them on when you were bloated from last night’s dinner, and they were going to fit tomorrow… right? 😉 Yeah, right.
I lost several inches off my waist and about seven pounds.
I can fit these pants without looking or feeling like a stuffed mushroom, and can even put my arm all the way in them. I can wear some of my dresses as “Spanx optional,” and feel good about it.
…Or to get super precise, about 9 weeks. I started to notice some changes around my birthday. I looked less “full” when getting dressed, and my clothes started to slowly fit better. CJ said something before I did aloud to him (I was wondering in my head, but didn’t want to get ahead of myself). By September, it was clear that things were happening! My dresses weren’t as tight as they used to be. The jumpsuit that I wore to the Color Factory actually fit! It was not the first outfit I chose. Months before, I had a serious pooch in it and the zipper did not give me any grace. But since it was all-white, I put it on, and to my surprise, it fit normally. My clinical before and after photos show the significant loss of fat in the middle section of my abdomen, and less in my back love handles. HOLLA!
Hell yeah!
Coolsculpting worked and require nothing from me, plus the team at GBC was amazing and professional. I had no downtime, minus the mild swelling and soreness that I knew were coming in the immediate days following the procedure. The “hard” part is the waiting game. If you want instant gratification, you’re not going to get it with Coolsculpting. It takes time to show, and it’s gradual, and it’s worth the wait. I have to tell you that the moment I was in the beginning stages of seeing my results, I changed. I felt less self-conscious of my body and walked with a different stride. It even affected my eating habits because I didn’t want to waste my results.
I’d like to do it again after I’ve lost at least 10 pounds on my own so I can feel confident in my wedding dress next year.
GBC’s next Coolscuplting event is on November 14! At the event, you’ll have a private assessment with their Coolsculpting technician to learn more about the procedure, see before and after’s from real patients, and make sure you are a good candidate. If you are, you can purchase your treatment package that day at a discount! If the date doesn’t work with your schedule, give them a call to set up a consultation! You don’t just have to do your stomach. Maybe arms or thighs would work better for you. Call and ask.
