I know you are eager to hear all about NYFW, but I had to share a really cool event that I went to during the trip! In the thick of our NYFW planning, Ruthie and I received an email from LIKEtoKNOW.it announcing their book tour to promote LIKEtoKNOW.it: Stories from the Influencer Next Door. The kick off was in NYC on our last day in town so we knew we had to go!

Stories from the Influencer Next Door goes behind the scroll with more than 100 influencers sharing how they started their entrepreneurial businesses and navigated their path to influencer. It’s so cool seeing so many others that I’ve followed and some people who are friends featured in the book, which launches TODAY! Curated by the Editors of LIKEtoKNOW.it, the book has an influencer featured that anyone can identify with.

The panel in NYC had Cynthia of SimplyCyn, Kendall of Styled Snapshots, Mary of Happily Grey and Caila Quinn of With Love, Caila sharing their unique experiences as an influencer, how they’ve managed to adapt to the ever-changing landscape, and sound advice on balancing work and personal (thanks to a question I asked about supportive spouses). Prior to the event, we had no idea who was going to be on the panel, so when we arrived, Ruthie and I totally had fangirl moments! Ruthie has been a long time follower of Mary and me of Cynthia!
