I don’t know about you, but I’d rather stay home versus going out on the town when the day wraps up. There’s something so calming about not having to be “on” all of the time. I’m lucky that boyfriend treasures his time at home, too! Since I’ve downsized, the sofa is now at CJ’s place and some of our best conversations have happened on that thing. We usually sit on our respective sides and you may catch me with an ottoman depending on how comfy I am trying to get.
It had been a while since we had a day where we both didn’t have plans, so this past weekend we decided to spend an agenda-free afternoon on the couch with snacks. In my opinion, the best snacks include a bountiful cheese board and prosecco, of course. Sparkling wine is a favorite of mine and I don’t like to wait for special occasions to break some out. We recently discovered VOVETI and love its delicate taste. Crafted from 100% Prosecco, VOVETI features flavors of pear, green apple, melon and ripe peach which made every sip a treat.
If you’re really into sparkling wine like I am, you’ll take great delight in learning that the families behind VOVETI have over 100 years experience in winemaking, the Ferrer family, and the Collavini family. You can learn more about the heritage of the wine here.
Prosecco and cheese? Yes, please. I was in heaven and the bubbles that tickled my lip were quite a surprise too. After I stuffed my face with the majority of the Humboldt Fog cheese, the rest of the evening was spent chatting, laughing, dancing and some TV time. VOVETI definitely elevated our usual Netflix and Chill sesh. Have I inspired you to get your favorite snacks and some bubbly? Below are some tips to get you on your way.
Leave your ideas and tips for a fun night in below in the comments, and make sure you try some VOVETI!
TLG TIP: Sometimes all you want it just a little bit of wine, and the minis came in handy for that. I usually use minis for party favors, picnics, and travel. They look really cute when you attach a fancy straw to them with some ribbon.
