I don’t know about you, but I’d rather stay home versus going out on the town when the day wraps up. There’s something so calming about not having to be “on” all of the time. I’m lucky that boyfriend treasures his time at home, too! Since I’ve downsized, the sofa is now at CJ’s place and some of our best conversations have happened on that thing. We usually sit on our respective sides and you may catch me with an ottoman depending on how comfy I am trying to get.

It had been a while since we had a day where we both didn’t have plans, so this past weekend we decided to spend an agenda-free afternoon on the couch with snacks. In my opinion, the best snacks include a bountiful cheese board and prosecco, of course. Sparkling wine is a favorite of mine and I don’t like to wait for special occasions to break some out. • Don’t just turn off your devices – put them away so you don’t even think about them.
• Binge watch that show you’ve been meaning to catch up on.
• Play a board game. CJ and I love Sequence!
• Listen to a podcast without your earbuds. It’ll make for a different experience.

TLG TIP: Sometimes all you want it just a little bit of wine, and the minis came in handy for that. I usually use minis for party favors, picnics, and travel. They look really cute when you attach a fancy straw to them with some ribbon.
