I am obsessed with this spring outfit. It is comfortable, it is classy and it’s something I literally picked up as I was putting clothes back in my closet and said, “Ooh, I think that could work” as I was scrambling trying to figure out to wear. When I left for my day of meet-ups and errands, I never thought I’d receive so many compliments, but I did! It’s seriously just three pieces:
A black jumpsuit
A trench vest
A pair of open-toed mules
I found this black strapless jumpsuit at Ross a few weeks ago while my friend and I were looking for things to wear out that night. It came in black, gray and beige, and I am kicking myself for not purchasing the gray one as well (maybe they have it near you)! I wear the black one once a week. It is the easiest thing to dress up or down and it feels like pajamas. If you had one that comfy, you’d wear it all of the time, too.
I topped the cotton jumpsuit with this trench vest from last year’s Who What Wear collection. It is another favorite item, a piece that you can throw on top of anything and elevate your look. They’re hot right now – look for one when you’re shopping!
Don’t forget your mules! Who can pass up a mule? My mother wore them all of the time and for the past few seasons, they have made a big return. They are the perfect item to complete an outfit, and the shorter block heel won’t leave your feet hurting at the end of the day.
Ta-da. Happy Gallivanting!

Always love your style!!! This look is perfect for so many occasions!
Love these items! You look amazing. Any tips for someone stuck in a style rutt? I always buy inexpensive items at Target or TJ Maxx. I need to go somewhere new. It’s hard to find stylish pieces that aren’t Nordstroms expensive or that are age appropriate (while still looking good.) I am a Mom and am ok with walking away from Forever 21. At the same time I don’t want to look like an old lady. lol. What do you think Kachet?
