The season of giving is upon us! I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe it’s here. This year has been unlike any we’ve ever experienced, and that’s even more reason to believe in the magic of the holiday season. That means keeping or creating traditions, enjoying delicious foods, and bringing joy to others, among other things. Because my fiance and I moved to Dallas at the beginning of 2020, we’ve decided not to travel to the West and East Coasts to celebrate the holidays this year. But, that’s not going to stop the holiday cheer! We’re going to send personally wrapped gifts to our loved ones, and we’re trusting The UPS Store to get them there.
The UPS Store is here to make all of our lives easier, whether we’re playing Santa or CEO. I’ll be wearing both hats but the most prominent one will be Santa, and I’m so happy that The UPS Store is just a few blocks away from our home because they’re a convenient, helpful, and reliable solution for me this holiday.
With nearly 5,000 locations, The UPS Store offers convenient solutions for busy customers alike and business owners alike, all in one place. This holiday, they are pulling out all of the stops to make sure our holiday gifting goes smoothly, no matter the size of the items. Their certified packing experts put just as much care into packing our gifts as we do, so just bring in your gifts and let them take over! When they pack and ship items using materials from The UPS Store, the cost of packing and shipping is all-inclusive. If there’s a snafu, they will cover the value of the items if lost or stolen. It’s peace of mind during a time where we need the assurance that it’s handled! I brought in a few gifts to send to California since I did some early holiday shopping.
It was super easy when I went into my neighborhood location. Once you’re at the counter, you’ll place your items on the scale to weigh and a store associate will measure them and ask standard shipping questions to find the appropriate packing material for your gifts. From there, they’ll ask for the recipient’s address and talk through your various shipping options + rates. I know they can handle the job. Just think of how many UPS trucks we see on our streets around the holidays.
But that’s not all! There are many other services at The UPS Store including printing (i.e. holiday cards), shredding, P.O. Boxes, and more. I didn’t just bring my boxes for shipping, I also brought my shred pile of papers that’s been sitting in my office. If you’re doing some purging and organizing before the year ends, know that you can check two boxes off at once when you make your trip there!
Are you prepping for your big Santa moment? Well, after you find the perfect gifts and add your loving touch, here are some ways that you can make sure your experience goes smoothly:
