girls night out inspiration

I am so happy to be back in the swing of things, especially getting back out and about at the many happenings in Sac, just like every summer. It’s seriously like clockwork over here. Every week there is something going on, and you really have to pick and choose what you’re going to take part in or you’ll get burnt out (the difference between 22 and 28 is real). The best part about summer here is the delta breeze, making the nights bearable after the intermittent excruciating heat.

One might say that it’s off the table, but trust me when I say that you can still wear black this season! A breathable fabric like linen makes it bearable. I’ve been pretty obsessed with the Who What Wear collection at Target as you can tell here and here, and it just keeps getting better. This ruffle tank is perfect for the office with a skirt, or for a night out with some jeans. Now, instead of a skinny jean, I opted for a culotte in a light wash. To me, it “summerized” the look.
