These photos were taken in one of my favorite parts of Sacramento: the R Street Corridor, which spans several blocks. There is one block between 15th and 14th that is hot for restaurants, bars and salons and then further west there are a couple of eateries (including favs Shoki Ramen House and Fox & Goose). I love this street not for what it is today, but for what it’s going to be in a few years. There’s currently development for retail, artists lofts, office spaces and more. It’s a proud moment for your city when you witness its growth right before your eyes.
Now, to the outfit!
Top: Freestyle Clothing Exchange
Jeans: Heart Clothing Boutique
Shoes: Chinese Laundry via DSW (avail here for $20!)
Jewelry: J. Crew Factory + Forever 21
Pouch: Kate Spade
Appropriate for a ladies night out, this outfit was surprisingly comfortable. I was worried about how casual this top was but this statement necklace gave this shirt a bit more life. And the pastel skinnies really set it off. Of course I wore my favorite metallic sandals and paired the look with a bright lip. The best of it all? The top from Freestyle was only $9 and the necklace from J. Crew Factory cost me under $3. No, I didn’t miss a zero. THREE dollars. Sign up for their emails. You’ll be surprised what you can get your hands on when they have an additional off sale!
Have a great day! I can’t wait to share what I’ve been up to in tomorrow’s post.

I haven’t been to DSW in a minute, I need to check out the end of the season sale. I love those metallic sandals from Chinese Laundry and they are perfect with the pastels.
I haven’t either. I usually don’t have good luck but these were a great find. I received a coupon for my birthday so will have to go in soon! Cheers!
