Fast and Fabulous Holiday Cards from Minted

in lifestyle on 12/08/16

The holiday season is in FULL SWING and if you’re anything like me, you may have a list that just keeps getting longer. Holiday cards may be on it! Don’t worry, you still have time to check them off your list. I just did!

It’s in my blood to send cards. My mom and grandma sent them out every year and I always loved setting up the display of all of the ones we received. As I explained last year, I used to shy away from photo cards because it’s just me, but you know what? That’s a lovely thing to celebrate and share. So, I partnered with Minted again to select some amazing business and personal cards. As usual, the process was super smooth and my delivery came in less than a week.

From uploading pictures to editing, dragging and dropping text, they make it super easy. I like using Minted for my holiday cards because their paper and printing is clutch.  Their Signature paper is thick with a creamy cotton texture, and is optimized for photo printing. You can also choose 100% recycled paper, a Pearlescent paper which adds a subtle shimmer, DoubleThick paper or even TripleThick paper.

Here’s the one that I chose for my TLG contacts with a personalized message on the back! This design comes in five different colors and three different greeting options.

I ditched convention and selected a postcard for my personal cards. I thought it would something fun, plus the bright blazer matched this template perfectly! Not feeling the bright yellow? There are six colors and three greetings so you can choose one that delights you.

Want a sample of your card before it goes out? No problem. Minted will send you a proof. But with the clock ticking, you might want to fast forward with these tips.

TIPS TO GET YOUR HOLIDAY CARDS IN TIME

  • Upload your photo into their interface so you can see how it will look in a variety of cards. You only need to do it once.
  • Skip the proof if you are sure your photo is high resolution. This will you at least two days on your shipping!
  • Are you on your shit and have your list and addresses already compiled? Upload your contacts spreadsheet into Minted and let them do the addressing and mailing for you.

You’ll kill the holiday card game, for sure!

Don’t forget to check out their website even if you’re not in the market for holiday cards. With stationary, art, and home decor, you might be on the site for a while. For daily inspiration, check out their Instagram account. Happy Holidays!
