I don’t know why it took me so long to get a leopard coat, but I’m happy I got on the train sooner than later because I’m obsessed with mine! I pretty much love anything leopard, and at one point told myself it was too much.  I am kicking myself for ever getting rid of my leopard purse that I had during my Juicy Couture days. Anyway, back to the coat! The leopard coat gives me so many vintage vibes. If you look at some of the popular pictures from yesteryear, you’ll notice that many women would wear them to cocktail parties and nights out. Today, you can sometimes find those very coats at your local antique fair or thrift shop.

But, bring the trend to present day and a leopard coat is so chic, it’ll give you it girl status instantly. It’s a statement coat just like this guy and you can seriously wear it with anything. If it clashes with prints and textures, even better. It is a great way to show your personal style.

I was lucky (and I say lucky because they sold out like hot cakes) to find my leopard coat at Target from their A New Day collection.  I love the length as it covers my butt without the length slowing me down.
