The holiday season is in full swing and if you haven’t started your holiday shopping yet, anxiety may be setting in as you think about what to pick up for those on your list. Have you considered shaking it up from your normal pajamas, perfume, or purse gift routine and gifting an experience with care? Don’t get me wrong. I like opening presents as much as the next person. But, as I’m getting older, I appreciate experiences so much more than tangible items, and after speaking to several of my friends, it would appear that we’re all moving a little more in that direction.
I’ve rounded up a few gift ideas that will help make your loved one’s life a little easier, more organized, blossoming and even documented through imagery. Scroll on to see what I’m talking about…
Everyone has a drawer, closet, or room that they wish looked different. Whether it’s in the house or garage, everyone at one point or another has had to set aside time on the weekend to organize and purge. Well, your loved one doesn’t have to do it alone! Carly of Tidy Revival is here to save the day, and I speak from experience. I hired Carly to help us organize our garage, office
Because it looked so nice when each project was complete, it makes you want to keep it that way. Carly can get all in your business and overhaul your home or office, or tackle a tiny project. Give a gift certificate and let your recipient decide.

Do you have a busy friend? The one that says yes to too many things, and ends up feeling like everything is one step away from falling apart? Everyone likes flowers.
Everyone.
Even the people that don’t like them appreciate the fact that you thought about them. 😉 What if flowers magically appeared at your loved one’s home or office every now and then?
Bloom is a small, family-owned floral delivery subscription service in Sacramento. They deliver fresh, local bouquets each week or month – you decide! Check out the various options that you can brighten someone’s day with.
Photoshoots aren’t just reserved for bloggers or your Christmas card! Whether the time is used for professional headshots, boudoir, or a day-in-the-life shoot, give the gift of capturing a special memory and space in time for your loved one. I can wholeheartedly recommend friends of the blog depending on your style and type of shoot. They include Christina, Ashley, Mae, Christie, and Caroline!
I hope these ideas helped you think outside the box a bit as you narrow down gifts for people. Don’t forget, sometimes the best gift can be your time, so if your budget isn’t as big as your heart, that is okay! Don’t get so lost in the hoopla of the holidays that you miss the magic.
Happy Holidays to you!
