Thank you Estee Lauder for sponsoring this post.
Confession time, folks: One of my greatest fears when it comes to style and beauty is that my makeup will look cakey and overdone. I never want people to say “Whoa, she’s wearing a lot of makeup” or for me to leave half of my face on someone’s shoulder if we hug really tight.
For that reason, I do not wear a lot of makeup. You can tell if you scroll through my posts throughout the years. I keep things pretty simple with a base, eyeliner, blush, and lipstick. I’ve perfected the art of the five-minute face and only wear eyeshadows and foundation for a special occasion or for on-camera work.
But, now, that’s changed. Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation is one that I can get away with on a daily.
First, it’s oil-free and non-comedogenic, which is something I look for in all of my beauty products. I have oily to combination skin and historically foundation has been way too much for my skin.
Not with this product.
It’s lightweight and lasts all day long, so I have a lovely matte finish all day.
A bit little goes a long way, so you don’t have to worry about getting your money’s worth. With over 30 different shades including cool, warm and neutral tones, you’re sure to find your perfect match.
Find your perfect shade on their website, or do what I did, and go to your closest department store to be matched by a consultant. Their digital iMatch tool is really cool!
Signing off,
