Where did August go? We’re over halfway through the month and just like every August, it’s hot hot hot here. This tie dye maxi dress is perfect for days when you just want to throw something on. It’s breathable, it’s chic, and it’s actually long enough for this tall giraffe.

My birthday is tomorrow and I’m celebrating on Saturday, so this little number just might have to be my party dress. 🙂 The maxi was a little bit out of my normal style. I actually loathe them (I’ve been scorned by one too many ladies wearing them with the wrong undergarments) but the tones and the lighter fabric made it an easy sell. With maxi dress that has this kind of neckline, I’d suggest wearing a long pendant necklace like the one I’m wearing, which I also found at Krazy Mary’s. Don’t forget undies that cover your full bottom!
