Yesterday I styled a Good Day Sacramento segment for Macy’s in honor of the Go Red Movement, with each model being affected by heart disease in some way. Tomorrow is National Wear Red Day, and I’m doing my part in this LRD: little red dress.

I think we all know someone who’s been affected by heart disease in some way. Maybe it’s even yourself. For me, my grandmother had a heart attack that left her with a pacemaker and array of medications, as well as having congestive heart failure. It’s more important than ever that we know our family history, visit our doctor regularly, and take the proper precaution against heart disease.

Macy’s has been a national sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women since its inception in 2004 and thanks to the support of their employees and customers, they’ve helped to raise over $50 million to support the cause.
