One day I was perusing the sale racks at Macy’s (one of my secret spots for savings – no secret now!), and all of a sudden I gasped. A little leopard dress was sprawled across the ground and it was my size, and only $20. TLG to the rescue!
I tried it on and it fit like it had been waiting for me to come and try it on. Fast forward to a month later, and I’ve been wearing this dress all of the time. Why? Well, it’s super flattering, a fun and funky print, and can be dressed up or down. The flare at the bottom gives it a little something extra, and I know when it’s warmer, it’ll be equally as cute without tights.
Versatility in pieces of clothing is so important, whether you’re buying full price or on sale. I’ve been leaning more toward pieces that I can wear at least three different ways rather than a one-and-done. It saves money and space in the closet!
OK! There’s a lot going on in this post 🙂

TLG Tip: Now is the time to buy winter items on sale. Stores are beginning to get ready for spring, and if you’re like me, you’re wondering, “Why? It’s still cold!” Well, take advantage of it by stocking up on sweaters, coats, scarves and boots that still can get a lot of play this season. 🙂
