Punch is the ultimate big batch cocktail. It looks impressive, serves a crowd and takes all the stress out of mixing drinks one by one. This sparkling citrus punch is bright, bubbly and just boozy enough. It’s the kind of recipe that looks fancy but is so simple to pull together.
Whether you’re hosting a holiday brunch, a spring shower, or just want something fun for your guests to enjoy, this punch is everything. I first made it as part of my citrus-themed tablescape shoot and it’s become a favorite in my hosting playbook.
Sparkling Citrus Punch Ingredients
- 1 cup vodka
- ¼ cup Campari
- ½ cup Limoncello
- 1 bottle brut sparkling wine
- ½ cup each of grapefruit + orange juices
- ½–1 cup soda water (to taste)
- Citrus wheels for garnish
- Fresh herbs (I used rosemary)
- Optional: ice ring with citrus + herbs to make this a true focal point of your gathering
Learn from my mistake: Don’t use sparkling water in your ice ring. It freezes cloudy/white. Stick with still water for that clear look.
Steps to make the Sparkling Citrus Punch
- Add the vodka, Campari, and Limoncello to a punch bowl. If using, drop in your citrus ice ring.
- Pour in the juices, sparkling wine, and soda water.
- Stir gently and garnish with citrus wheels and herbs.
- Serve chilled, over ice if needed.

Pro Tips for Hosting
- This recipe serves 4–6, especially if everyone’s having a couple of glasses. Double it for a true party-size big batch cocktail.
- Prep an ice ring the night before with citrus slices and herbs in a mold. It keeps your sparkling citrus punch cold and looks gorgeous.
- Don’t have a punch bowl? Snag mine! And don’t forget, you can always throw it in a pitcher.
This sparkling citrus punch for a crowd works in every season because it’s light and refreshing in the summer yet feels festive and celebratory during the holidays, too. Add it to your list – I’m sure you’ll come back to it again and again!
