This may come as a shock to you, but lately, it’s been a bit of a challenge to figure out what to wear! This tends to happen to me when I get in the habit of wearing the same things over and over. Usually, around that time, I turn to Stitch Fix! I love Stitch Fix because their stylists are a friendly voice in helping me build my wardrobe.
Are you familiar with Stitch Fix? Stitch Fix is a personal styling service and stylists learn what you like to send you clothes you’ll love. Going to the mall or a department store can be so exhausting so getting a Fix is a nice change because I can try on everything at home. Stitch Fix carries women’s sizes 0-24W and XS-3X (maternity and petite, too) and all of the returns are super easy & free. I keep what I like and I send back the rest in the pre-paid shipping bag. You can drop it off at any USPS mailbox and go on about your business.
You pay $20 to have your Fix curated by a personal stylist, which applies towards anything you keep. If you keep all five of your Stylist Picks, you get a 25% discount on your entire purchase!
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Stitch Fix a few times over the years and I’m so excited that they still haven’t run out of good ideas! First, it was Stitch Fix Men… then shoes…and now, EXTRAS!
Extra, what?
Extras! All of the things that you need to help you feel “complete,” including bras, underwear, camisoles, socks, and more, all in women’s sizes XS – 3X. The price for adding Extras to your fix range from $9.50 to $65.
So what happens if they arrive and they don’t fit? It’s okay! You only pay for the Extras you want to keep. Like with the traditional Stitch Fix model, shipping is free both ways with your pre-paid shipping bag.
It gets better: your $20 Styling Fee goes towards any Extras you keep!
In addition to my traditional fix, the team at Stitch Fix gave me access to the feature early and I was able to add a few extras to my cart: a 3-pack of socks, camisole and a brief to match.
So, this was one of my favorite fixes ever. Like, EVER! Like, my first fix back in 2012 was my favorite, and this might be a close second. It was super tailored to my personal style, and I attribute that to being very communicative about my style. In addition to updating my profile to reflect my current preferences and sizes, I made a note for my stylist and gave her a link to my Instagram and Pinterest accounts so she could see what I’m wearing on a daily. If you’re a little bit hesitant about your Fix, take the extra minute and LEAVE NOTES! It ensures a great experience!
I kept three out of the five pieces and would’ve kept the other two if one item had been in a different color and one in a different size.
*Note: Stitch Fix allows you to exchange items that you loved for a different size pending availability
Give me all of the peekaboo shoulders! I have a sweater that is similar to this one (I wore it in this post), and now I’m so happy to have one in black! It is perfect for day or night, but you gotta put on some cute patchwork jeans like these (they were in my fix, too) and strut your stuff!
I was obsessed with this gray overcoat with grommet sleeves as soon as I pulled it out of the box. This winter I am all about the layering, so this was a fun option! I’m wearing it with jeans but it would be equally as cute with a skirt, and it will dress up my yoga pants! 😉
Stitch Fix Extras launch Feb. 22 and will become available to all female clients through the Spring. Add some to your next Fix!! I can’t wait to hear what you think! Thanks for visiting. xo
