Holiday Sequin Style: Volume 3

I couldn’t leave you hanging without volume 3! Going through look 1 and 2 was fun, but I’m sharing something equally as fun! This look shows sequins when mixed with a few different textures. I found this Rachel Roy dress at Crossroads back in June, and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to wear it for a season – but that was okay! I added it to my row of LBD’s and counted down the months. 🙂 This dress has the elegance for holiday, and perfect for a New Year’s Eve celebration.

I was drawn to how subtle the sequins are on the dress. They make a shimmering statement without being too loud. The empire waist with the fabric draped at my bust makes for a lovely contrast. I threw on a fuzzy shrug because, after all, it’s winter. To match the shininess of the sequins, I wore a patent handbag and stilettos.
