Valentine’s Day is next week and it’s time to pour on the pink and red. I’ve had this little red dress in my closet for quite some time and it was the perfect thing to wear to the Galentine’s celebration. Many people shy away from wearing red and I don’t know why! It looks good on everyone, but I have to say, it’s all about how you wear it. I toned down the red in this look with a black leather jacket, but tied it together with a red lip. If you don’t think you can be the lady in red this Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) Day, I encourage you to try and tone it down with another hue. It doesn’t have to be black. Pink, hunter green, and navy blue are also great options! Don’t forget about metallics, like this gold clutch of mine.
Gotta show a little leg, and I keep them looking their best with this product.
This hi-low dress is a blank canvas for you to accessorize however you see fit, and it has pockets, too. Every season Rachel Roy comes out with a different color palate and while the black and white ones stay at full price, the colors go on sale at the end of the season. Check your local Macy’s, starting with the Impulse section, and then Last Act to score one!
Wishing you a very happy Valentine’s Day! The best kind of love and sometimes the hardest is self-love, so take some time to appreciate the wonder that is you!
