I sneak peeked this XOXO blazer on Instagram last week and I was overwhelmed by all of the love! I gotta admit, it almost didn’t happen! While pulling for a show with my styling assistant, we managed to find some things in the Last Act section at Macy’s, and she pulled this for herself to try on later. It didn’t end up working out for her and I almost didn’t try it on. I had just broken my toe and was trying to get things done quickly, but I did…and then I was like, “Yo, this blazer is kind of amazing!” The fact that it was on crazy sale was a BONUS!

As you know from the velveteen blazer, a pop of color is a favorite of mine so I don’t know why I hesitated at the chance of being the golden lady in this XOXO blazer. This look transitions oh-so-well from the office to a holiday mixer with your colleagues, from dinner with the crew to cocktails and dancing. Swap the loafers for a bootie or a simple strappy heel!
