Have you heard? Stitch Fix recently launched Stitch Fix Men, and it couldn’t be more on time. It works the same as the original Stitch Fix for women: just log in, fill out the style profile that has questions about colors, fit, style and desired price point of each item, then decide when you want your fix! My boyfriend CJ‘s Stitch Fix Men box arrived and, yes, we’re saying it before you can reach the bottom of the post, everything was great!
Very clever, Stitch Fix Men.
There is a $20 styling fee per fix, and when you purchase any of the items in your fix, the fee is deducted from the cost. Pretty simple, right? Each box’s envelope has an invoice of items received in addition to style cards and a prepaid return envelope just in case something doesn’t work out. It’s practically identical to the original Stitch Fix box designed for women with the exception of color scheme. 😉
One thing that I’m so happy they carried over for Stitch Fix Men is the style guide. Each piece in the fix is laid out with other items, which makes it easy when you’re figuring out what to wear. Each square is perforated so one can tear and insert into a wallet. Doesn’t get better than that!
CJ received two slim fit button downs, a short sleeved button down, pullover hoodie and pair of jeans. Even though we go shopping together regularly, it was funny watching him try everything on. I admit, he has a signature style and all of the pieces I thought he’d gravitate toward, he did. But you don’t have to take my word for it. Here’s what he had to say about the experience:
“When I purchase clothing, you better believe I buy for longevity. This means that staying primarily with cotton clothing is important, so it was refreshing that the shirts I received were made of good quality cotton. Since I have an athletic build, I was impressed with how well the tops fit. While the jeans were nice, I never got into slim/skinny jeans, and with my large calves, don’t nobody got time for that.”
After a short game of dress up, CJ decided to forgo the short sleeve because of the changing season and the jeans because as he said, don’t nobody got time for that. 🙂 Each item received was between $50-$100.
“The price point was on the higher end of what I would like to pay for a single item, but that’s just because I’m a bargain shopper. But considering that my box was personalized and my stylist selected shirts that I would happily add to my closet, the price was worth it.”
I didn’t even have to show CJ how easy it was to check out because he had already downloaded the Stitch Fix app. “It’s very easy. You check out on the app. Select what you’re keeping and what you’re not. Drop the envelope of items in the mail. Done and done.”
Don’t feel like adding another app to the mix? No problem. You can simply log in and go through the same process.
Now my question to you is: What are you waiting for? Have you tried Stitch Fix yet? Now is the perfect time to do so, and get the man in your life on board too with Stitch Fix Men!
Thank you to CJ aka Mr. Hominis for collaborating on this post!
