You can’t go to France and not go to the pharmacy. It’s the holy grail for some of the most enviable and amazing products for your body. Kachet did her research before setting foot into one, and here a few of her favorites:
Homeoplasmine
I can’t even imagine life without this bad boy. It’s always in my purse. This ointment with chammomile can be used as a lip balm substitute and seriously, all you need is a little dab since it’s very thick. In addition to being great for moisturizing lips and dry patches of skin, it is also great on scars! Don’t shy away from it being an ointment. If you emulsify it between your fingers, it breaks down the consistency for a smooth glide. Purchase here.
Biafine
I’m pretty obsessed with this cream. I only wish that it came in a pump so I could use it all of the time. It is a wound dressing, and it lived up to its purpose on a couple of burns that I got this past Christmas (damn oven) and sped up healing, but it’s also an intense moisturizer, turning skin into baby butt soft butteriness. Before my last photo shoot, I slathered up with this stuff and I remained hydrated for hours. Purchase here.
Bioderma Micellar Cleanser
The popularity of micellar cleansers is rising, and for good reason! The cleanser gets all of the gunk off at the end of the day gently and effectively. It’s fragrance free, which is amazing for those of us with sensitive skin and doesn’t strip the skin of oils. To make it even more of a no-brainer, this cleanser is used without water. All you need is a cotton pad. It truly can’t be any easier. Just leave it next to your bed and you have no excuse. Purchase here.
Lait-Creme Concentrate
With all of the travel I’ve been doing lately, my skin has been acting a fool. This moisturizer has been a godsend to keep my face looking great and perfectly prepped before I put on my makeup. It’s in the rotation permanently. Purchase here, or maybe your local Target will have it.
Avene Eau Thermal Water
My mother used to use an Evian spritz on her face and if I was patient while she was getting ready, she would spray my face, too! I used to think it was so fun, not realizing the great benefits of the product. I love to use it to set makeup or anytime I need a pick-me-up. Purchase here.
Nuxe
I’m no stranger to dry oil, but this was my first encounter with Nuxe. It’s a highly coveted product and comes in a few varieties. I opted for the shimmering oil. The glow it gives is fantastic, and not 1990’s glitter gal. The scent is wonderful, too. What are you waiting for? Purchase here.

I had no idea about these things! Thanks for the heads up, good lookin’ out!
You are so welcome! Luckily a lot of them you can get online…and you just might have a chance to win some in the future, too! 😉
I love Nuxe dry oil and Avene Eau Thermal Water! I recommend Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum by Avene as well! My skin has been SO dry and putting this on under my moisturizer has done wonders!
Definite lifesavers, and we’ll for sure try the that hydrating serum. Thanks for the tip!
Such a good list! And thanks for letting us know where we can find everything in the US. I went to Paris with a group of beauty bloggers (I’m a fashion blogger, but they let me tag along) in 2014 on the Paris Beauty Tour. We went to a drugstore but I was so overwhelmed i regretably left behind so many items like the Bioderma and Nuxe shimmer oil. Can’t wait to go back and stock up!
