Yes, this is me, clutching hard to my Parabo Box. This pic was taken after I had opened the goodies but I wanted to lead with it as it sums up my feeling about how AWESOME the box is. Parabo may sound familiar to you. Earlier this year, I introduced you to Parabo Press in this blog post, but they have now launched their Parabo Box!
The Parabo Box is a subscription-based service that turns a favorite Instagram photo into a new print or another art object with hand-selected curated home accessories to go with it. Each month is different and has a special surprise theme. Wondering how they can figure out your favorite Instagram photo? Well, just add #printmeplease to your favorite Instagram to let them know what to print! If you don’t use the hashtag at all, they will choose your most liked photo from the last month.
The awesome people at Parabo kicked off my Christmas by sending me this box, and can I just say that the December’s box was PERFECT and well-timed?! Keep scrolling. 🙂
First, let me say that the packaging itself is impressive. The actual box it came in is very sturdy and can easily house some things that need a home. I loved the seal on the box so even once you flipped it open, you really had to “unwrap” the gift!
Five-year-old Kachet would say “Just rip it!”
The December box’s theme highlighted holiday cocktails and included a fun print that says Cheers, a winter cocktail recipe book, swizzle sticks, two copper cups and one surprise you have to keep reading about. What’s more, is that the books and accordion fold welcome note are actually products that Parabo offers to the public! You could make your own if you wanted, with photos or whatever tickles your fancy. The best part of the entire box was seeing my face and CJ’s on a set of metal coasters! The coasters were made using the same technique as the metal prints (look those up here). Last but not least, the Parabo team included a certificate to create a photo book. CJ and I are going to make a book of some of our favorite travel memories from the year.
