Our wedding is nine months away! It seemed so far away and now it’ll be here before we know it. We’ve kept most of our peeps in the dark about the date, but that won’t be the case any longer! We created our Save the Date cards with Mixbook and it couldn’t have been easier!
Are you familiar with Mixbook? Mixbook is an online design tool that allows you to create fully customizable photo products like books, cards, calendars, and wall canvases. With their editor, you can use their existing templates or you can get ultra creative and edit to your heart’s content! Over the years, I’ve crafted our photo cards around holidays and special occasions with others, and I have to say, Mixbook was the most intuitive and most responsive platform to use. I’m so glad we decided to use them for our save the date cards!
Mixbook Save the Date Cards
First of all, Mixbook makes it easy for the engaged couples by offering a full suite of wedding collection products. “We” had a tough time narrowing down our templates because they were all amazing and we had many premium paper stocks, and fun card shapes/accents to choose from. “We” is in quotation marks because it was ME! What can I say: It was a big decision? 🙂 While we’re still fine-tuning details around our wedding theme and decor, we know that we are going with a modern Gatsby and Art Deco theme, so we opted for a simple and classic Save the Date card style that would coordinate! Our engagement pictures look so so good in the template we chose!
Mixbook’s Wedding Sample Kits
If you’re newly engaged, you MUST request one of Mixbook’s Wedding Sample Kits. You’ll be able to experience all of the beautiful stationery card stocks, card shapes that Mixbook offers. It also includes a list of fonts, ways to customize, and examples of photos/theme across multiple Mixbook products. You also get a sweet coupon for when it comes time to order! Receiving this in advance of creating our cards let me and CJ know what we could expect, and also help us visualize what the other pieces in our wedding stationery collection will look like! We really can create a fully custom wedding collection that reflects our theme. 🙂
Other Mixbook Products
We are planning on using Mixbook for our wedding invitations and photo books from our travels, but there are so many more products! From calendars to prints (canvas, photo and metal) to home decor, Mixbook offers something for you to commemorate all of your life stages. Keep me posted on what you create, and if you’re a bride to be reading this, congratulations! I can’t wait to hear how your cards come out!
